"How to be from a different fairy tale and remain yourself?" – literary evening with Joanna Brodzik and Marika Krajniewska at MCC Mazurkas Conference Centre & Hotel****
The last week of June brought another inspiring networking event at the MCC Mazurkas Conference Centre & Hotel****. This time, as part of the "Mazurkas After Hours" events, a second meeting in the "Art of Being..." format took place, during which participants had the opportunity to meet two incredibly charismatic women – Joanna Brodzik and Marika Krajniewska. Their collaborative novel "Kaleidoscopes. Pain", the opening of a four-part literary series, served as the pretext for the conversation.
MCC Mazurkas Conference Centre & Hotel**** once again became the venue for an inspiring meeting that combined literature and self-reflection. On June 25, 2025, another edition of the unique "Art of Being..." series took place, featuring Joanna Brodzik and Marika Krajniewska – authors of the book "Kaleidoscopes. Pain", which became the guiding principle of the evening's theme, "How to Be from a Different Story and Become Yourself?"
The meeting was moderated by Dagmara Chmielewska, an expert in event management and juror of international competitions, and the creator of the "Art of Being..." meeting format. Her engaging and open style of conversation also encouraged other participants to reflect and share their thoughts on what kind of hero they would be in a book about their own lives, what values guide them, and what they would like to convey to the world through their personal stories.
The evening was not only a literary encounter, but also music and unique flavors. Agnieszka Kotek created an unforgettable atmosphere, performing the most famous Disney songs, which brought smiles and emotion. Attendees could also enjoy delicious, picnic-style dishes prepared by the Budnik Brothers. Their light and colorful menu, created especially for the evening, enhanced the relaxed, friendly atmosphere of the meeting and encouraged conversation.
Joanna Brodzik and Marika Krajniewska discussed the process behind their collaborative novel and the personal experiences that inspired them. "Kaleidoscopes" is a four-part story about emotions, relationships, and the path to self-discovery. The first volume, "Pain," premiered on May 15, 2025, and has already garnered critical acclaim.

The evening concluded with informal conversations during a garden party. It was also a moment for a book signing and an exchange of inspiration with the authors of "Kaleidoscopes."
